Scream 6 or Scream VI is an upcoming American horror and slasher movie written by Guy Busick and James Vanderbilt and directed by Tyler Gillett, and Bettinelli-Olpin. The movie is continuing with its original franchise writer and creator who is also the executive producer Kevin Williamson. Scream 6 is a direct sequel to Scream (2022) and it is the 6th movie of the Scream film series. 

This movie is full of stars. The movie stars Hayden Panettiere, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding and also features the lead role of Netflix's recent super hit series Wednesday. Everyone is reprising their role from the previous movies. Scream 6 will feature some new actors such as Tony Revolori, Henry Czerny, Samara Weaving, and Dermot Mulroney. However one of the popular roles and franchise star Neve Campbell announced that she won't be performing the role of Sidney Prescott because she isn't happy with the offer presented to her. 

Before releasing scream 4 Kevin Williamson who is the creator of this series said he already mapped out the next movies Scream 5 and Scream 6 but was waiting for Scream 4 to succeed. Long later in January 2022, Tyler Gillett, David Arquette, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, and Neve Campbell showed interest and told the creator that they want to make the future films of this series. While publicizing Shining Vale Courteney Cox also showed interest in the sequel. On February 3, 2022, Spyglass Media Group green-lighted a sixth movie. Guy Busick and James Vanderbilt were set to write the script of this movie while Gilette and Olpin would direct the movie. Campbell approached by the end of that month to return for the movie. 

Scream 6 was planned in 2014. In January 2022 development of this movie began. In June 2022 all cast, directors, and writers were set for the job. At first, it was decided that the movie will release on 31st March 2023. Later the movie is scheduled to release on 10th March 2023.
