House Party is an upcoming American movie screenplay by Jamal Olori and Stephen Glover, directed by Calmatic. There's another movie named House Party which was released in 1990 and this movie (House Party 2023) is serving as a reboot of that film. House Party 2023 stars Jacob Lati ore, D.C. Young Fly, Tosin Cole, Scott Mescudi, and many more. LeBron James is also in this movie and is also the producer of it.
Back in February 2018, New Line Cinema announced that it is developing a remake of House Party (1990) with Maverick Carter and LeBron James with the production company SpringHill Entertainment. In September 2019 a new announcement appeared that Calmatic will be the director of this movie and House Party (2023) will be exclusively released on HBO Max.
In April 2021, Tosin Cole and Jorge Lendebrog Jr were assigned the lead role of Damon and Kevin. In July Jacob Latimore replaced Jorge Lendebrog Jr as Kevin. In the same month, Tamera Kissen was assigned a supporting role.
In July principal photography began in California. But all kind of activity was suspended a few days later because of Covid-19. Shooting resumed on 2nd August 2021.
What is House Party 2023 movie about?
Damon and Jacob are best friends. They work in the same place and the same job. And their job is cleaning houses. They are broke and short of money. And soon they will be kicked out of that job too. So Damon and Kevin planned to host the party of the year at LeBron James's house which is their last cleaning job site.

House Party is scheduled to release in United States by Warner Bros. Pictures on 13th January, 2023. At first is was scheduled to release only on digital platform on HBO Max on July 28, 2022.
